Very early Balabushka.

Restored by Pete Tascarella.

Mr. Abbott,

It is really nice to see some of the early work of a master cue maker. It shows the base from which they would excel. I had no idea that he was doing leather wraps that early in his career. I hope this is one of the cues that you bring to The Southern Cue and Case Show. I would like to see it close up and maybe get some measurements for my research. Thanks for sharing and I have to say WOW!

Rik,

I will bring this cue and four other Balabushkas to the show.

You are welcome to take measurements from all five, I would appreciate a copy of your data.

Pete added the leather when he restored the cue for its previous owner, it had been refinished once before so Pete didn't know what the original wrap was.

The leather may not be original to the cue but it adds a ton of class to this sweet stick.
