These two cues are in original condition meaning the original finish, wraps, and shafts are original to the cues as they came from George Balabushka.
Both of these cues date to the early 70's, late 60's and a letter from Pete Tascarella for each cue.
Pete built two new shafts for the BEM cue at the time the cue was sent to him for a letter.
The BEM into BEM cue features 5 veneers, leather wrap, and was the cue George built for George Jr. George Jr. sold the cue because he was going into the military. The cue was purchased from the estate of the gentleman that bought the cue from George Jr. The Spain blank is documented in a list of various blanks that Spain sold to Balabushka.
The fancy Balabushka features a Spain blank, ivory in the butt sleeve, and, the famous Bushka ring above the wrap.
This cue as purchased new from George by a local attorney in 1971. The original owner kept the cue until his death in 2001 when the cue was purchased from his estate.
