well i was at the poolhall friday nite, and one of the regulars walked in, about 9pm or so, and had his cue in hand, well to make it a short story, the guys father, used his truck that day, and put his cue case in the bed of his truck, well it rained all day long. and the cue was still in the truck soaking in the water, when he got the truck back.

So the guy was looking through a cataloge of cue's and asked about the Balabuska's and how fast the owner could get one. And of course i chimed in and said, why would you want a one of those? and he snaped back about my Schon, well i said, arnt those still made in Asia or china? and he said that the Great GB's son had bought the name back and i dont remember who's making them now, but its reputable company though.

So does this make them Worth Buying again?

Bushkas are still made by Adams/Helmstetter.
Pete Tascarella makes vintage cues as close to Bushka as far as I know.

How long have Adams/Helmstetter been making Balabuskas?

Cuz in 2000, when i got my Schon, from Hawleys in Texas, i had asked them about Balabushkas, and they told me, they was being made oversea's. So needless to say i didnt get one.

I vaguely remember recieving a sales brochure from one of my suppliers back in the late 80s/early 90s and even purchased a GB1 and GB4 to sell in my shop.

helmstetters are made in japan for a very long time now, maybe even from the start of the adams association.
