Bar cue tip replacement.

Think I can make it work, if I want to, but I see what you mean using a full length with some warp. Really moves the tip area around somewhat. Plus I had to bore out an extra insert I had laying around for the rear steady. Wish there was a way to move the middle steady, up down forward and back to straighten things out.
Guess if it's warped, it's just not worth working on it.

A slight warp can still cause problems on the lathe, but still be a usable cue.

The large bore is a huge benefit I’m glad I started with it. You could get a large bore adjustable steady rest. Very convenient to be able to place it anywhere.

I would like an extension bed. It would definitely make some situations easier, but not a necessity for me at this point.

On the Mid America site, I see one for $125. Just searching the net I haven't had any luck finding anything yet.
Try any taig site I bought alot of stuff from Cartertools. You dont need to clamp the beds together. Needs to be same height and inline. I have mine mounted on 3/4 particle board that I clamp to my bench when needed
