New game!
I gave my pool buddy's kid my old set of pool balls to play with, but it turns out that his dad is the one playing with them the most. He places a ball on the kitchen floor just in front of the kitchen table, then executes an expert Masse' shot by pressing down on the ball with his big toe. The ball slides forward under the kitchen table, curves to the right around the table leg, then draw takes over and the ball rolls back out on the other side of the table leg!
This has turned out to be a valuable tool for convincing his wife that she needs to let him go play pool all night long.
Note: Previous "kitchen floor" research was conducted (I think on RSB) where someone learned that he got the best draw on a kitchen floor. Really!
