Now that they use FargoRate to split divisions and cap ratings for scotch, is there a reason why there is a 1 male/1 female requirement?

I enjoy doubles but there are very few females to team with, and my vegas team has always been guys.

Forgive me....i just can't resist making this statement because every time an apa thread is started some one yells out. play bcapl ...you wont have that problem. :D

Play apa .

You have the choice of playing doubles with men if you want or jack and Jill doubles where it is required to have a male and female team.

Are you suggesting a 1 hetero/1 homo would work?
How about 1 male/1 cross-dresser?
How would one verify the sex of the participant?

What if you only "identify" with the opposite sex?? I am a "Jack" but with if I feel like I should have been born a "Jill" and I dress and act like one. Does that allow me to play a Jack & Jill as a female? In todays sensative climate wouldnt that be sexual discrimination???

If people are trying to be funny here...ummm *crickets*

Doubles tournaments will have a smaller turnout if male/female pair is required. Can we please eliminate this archaic format?
