BCE Snooker Cue?

The Kurly One

I was perusing a local curiosities shop this afternoon and found an older BCE snooker cue. I didn't purchase it but I started to think about it and wondered if I should. Here is what I remember of it.

It was a signature cue with a weird long Wooden joint that reminded me of a Carom cue joint it had what appeared to be an ivory sleeved joint and a black phenolic tip.

I know its a poor description, but I will tak a pic tomorrow.

Has anyone seen or used this type cue before? Is it worth $20?

I have a BCE snooker cue, its a Ronnie O'Sullivan signayture on it. Theyre very cheap. The wood is painted black to look like ebony, and the veneers are painted on, so is the grain in the shaft to look like ash. Im not even sure what the wood is really. Theyre sort of like Wal Mart quality snooker cues mostly, but I think they have some higher end ones that may be better. For $20, it may be worth a shot.
