first off bob danielson makes a great laminate shaft as well as laminated butts! this is a review of his new ss360 shaft! he changed from a 1" ferrule to a 3/4" ferrule to reduce weight also he is using some new maple would to laminate the shafts and i really took my time going back and forth with trying both to see what i thought was better!! after about 2-3 month's his new playing shafts are dead nut's!! he was nervouse because the wood on the new shafts he thought were more prone to dinging and i can say they are not!! they have a nice feel somewhere in between a predator but slightly softer in a good way and with your choice of kamui tip its a home run it has a feel like no other and i have tried a bunch! the price is $180.00 for a ss360 with a plain black collar and add $25.00 for matching collars but he also sell blanks in case you would like to use your own cue maker or repair guy.also bob is so easy to deal with and gets your order out on time or before for me and i have a friend frank who just ordered a custom laminated cue with a ss360 and for the price alot of work was done way more then the price reflects and i have another customer ordering a cue and some ordering shafts!!! they are that good!! workmanship is top notch and he is a sweetheart who will give you more cue then what you spend imho!! so anyway i have had a bunch of customs and bob makes one hell of a cue and low deflection shafts best i have tried and i mean no disrespect to any of the makers out here but if you dont try one of these shafts or cues i think your missing out on a great product! hope this helps with anyone thinking of picking one up and if you want any answers to thing i might of missed in this let me know..quick they are ready to order from 12mm to 13.25mm which is mine 6 pie lamination smaller ferrule for alittle weight reduction around 4oz and hit as sweet as shane van boenings stroke!!! anyway bobby thank you for all of your help and you have a player/customer for life!!
