I took delivery of this shaft today and I have to say if anybody has not tried an SS360, you need to order one up. When I email Bob Danielson I asked if I could get a 5/16-14" piloted black joint with a single steel ring, 12.5mm and a Tiger Sniper tip. It came exactly as ordered and the price was less than the other low deflection production shafts out there.

I recently picked up a Players HXT which is a decent cue, I've shot with the Predator 314, the Lucasi hybrid and the OB classic and I have to say this shaft fit my needs and wants better than the rest.

I'm sure everyone has their personal preference, but this was the one that I went with and I have absolutely no regrets. My shots were better, I had more control of the cue, I could make shape on my runs even when getting into a tight area. I ran out playing 9-ball against a person I never played against before and he was a damn good player too. He got good at racking :)

Thanks Bob!

This is the same experience i have with my SS360 , for now the shaft is on my Tacio Bautista cue ( very good cue btw ) but i hope my new BD cue will arrive next week , with a new SS360 of course .
I think the combination of the SS360 shaft with his 6 pie laminated butt will be a killer combination .
i can't wait to get it .

Please keep up posted on the progress with lots of pics!

I'm getting ready to order a customer build from BDCues here soon as well.

This shaft I have now was a replacement for a Joss butt so I'm in the market for a new butt to fill the bill for this shaft

What's the tip diameter?

I feel like anything bigger than 11.75 is huge after going to an OB2.

The SS360 is customized to your needs so if you want a 10mm tip Bob Danielson will make it , i have now one at 12mm and the one that is coming is at 12,50mm .

I think mine came was ordered with a 12.5 but I'm not sure to be honest. When I first took a shot with it, it almost felt like a pencil. But I came from a 13mm shaft before.

They are the best bang for your buck and mine would have been a little lighter on the pocket had I not gotten the ring put into the joint.

It's the best money I've spent on an upgrade so far.
