Up for sale is this beautiful cue made by Darrin Hill. This Hills cue features ebony forearm with 8 points of snakewood and ebony with 3 veneers (maple, lime green, maple). Ring work is white and black slotted rings trimmed with white. Handle is black textured leather, butt sleeve is ebony with 4 ivory diamonds and 4 ivory diamonds in the bottom of the 4 ebony points. Joint and butt cap are double black linen. The pin is Darrin's radial style brass 3/8x 10. There are three shafts with this cue. Two have ivory ferrules and one has yellow micarta. Custom joint protectors made by Darrin included. Specs are as follows:
Butt: 15 oz.
Shaft 1: 3.9 oz., 12.8 mm, Ivory Ferrule
Shaft 2: 3.6 oz., 12.5 mm, Ivory Ferrule
Shaft 3: 3.5 oz., 12.5 mm, Yellow Micarta Ferrule
Balance Point: 19-19 1/2 inches from butt cap
Tips: Elkmaster with the one shaft 3 a pressed elkmaster.
This cue also comes with a Certificate Of Authenticity from Darrin indicating it is a custom 1 of 1 never to be duplicated. Certificate is signed and dated 12-4-07. The cue is signed under the bumper.
The cue is absolutely flawless. Not a scratch or ding anywhere. Shaft 3 is the only one that has seen regular play. Shaft 2 was test for one or two racks. Shaft 1 has not hit a ball. I'm only selling this cue because I'm in the process of changing careers and going back to school. It's a great playing cue that I would keep if I didn't have the need to raise some $$. I'm looking to get $SOLD obo for it delivered to conus. Sorry, but no trades. Attached are some pics.
