Troy Downey 4 point 4 veneer Hoppe player.
Ebony into amazing curly maple, Black, mahogany. slate blue and natural veneers.
Elforyn joint and Hoppe ring.
White with green spec linen wrap.
19.15 or 19.26 oz depending on shaft used. Radial pin.
2 shafts. both 13mm. Aegis ferrules with Thoroughbred medium on one and Kamakizi black hard on the other. Both shafts are very clean, no bluing.
29/29 split and everything is straight and solid. There are no marks or dings on this cue.
3 piece black dimondwood joint protector set made by Troy for this cue.

Troy's prices have gone way up since he made this cue for me in 2020. $1,275 for a cue like this now.

I'm asking SOLD shipped and insured in the CONUS. (No trades please and this is a firm price)

Wow! That is a super nice cue! Troy does really great work. I just saw your post after the sale. As far as his prices rising- I noticed on the Mueller's cue repair site that the cue repair prices are about THREE times or more the prices they had from about a year ago- Troy and Mueller's were, at one time, the best cue repair value prices in America, IMO, I know all about inflation, but they took that to a much higher level it seems.

Well you consider they hadn't changed their prices much since 2015, I think they are just catching up. Schon has just steadily increased every year or faster. I could buy the STL 5 model for $500 ten years ago and now it's $1,025. However I was surprised at the prices for a Downey cue now.
I hope he's making a good living.

Joss IMO has held the most reasonable line on prices for their cues.
