Been experimenting with aiming using deflection and vise versa ( vertical axis) since i started playing pool. Then a few momnths ago somebody said there is an easier way to pot balls and get desired position.( use primarily one side of the horizontal axis) i thought there might be something to it so tried for a while to use majority one side of the horizontal axis. ( pot balls pretty well this way but position was off sometimes due to speed) Anyways after about a 2 months of careful speculation every day i have come to this conclusion. I can make balls no matter what spin i want to put on the cue ball effectively but if they are far away deflection is not my friend.. So after all this this careful deliberation i am right back where i started and im happy with it.
I use whatever spin is necessary on each individual shot. Pretty simple but took me a while to convince myself. ( Beginners might want to use a system to aim with deflection)
