Imagine attaching that variable speed motor to a taig or sherline.
Just bought this neat old lathe to add to the collection of vintage tools. Its not a cue lathe but I though you guys might get a kick out of the old variable speed motor.
Its made by Hobart Bros. Troy, OH. Motor is Variable 1 1/2 HP PH1. The handle on the motor controls the speed and direction. Center position is neutral. Up is reverse, down is forward. Its a small lathe about 7" swing. Its all solid cast iron and is a struggle to move with 2 people!
