Behind the Rock Tour is a weekly national tournament played from local pool rooms played on 9 foot tables.
How: Players play 11 games of 10ball vs the Ghost from their local pool room sometime between Sunday and Saturday each week.
Scores are uploaded to the internet by midnight every Saturday.
Sunday we calculate winners for each division, re-caluclate handicaps for the week and pay every Monday.
This tournament will grow to be the largest weekly tournament in the history of pool.
$10 Entry Fee
Pays 1/3 of the field in each division
Format - 10ball vs the Ghost
Players are not required to play every week or they can play multiple matches each week.
Currently running 3 divisions
Intermediate 0-30 points
Open 30-70 points
Scratch no average established
Advanced division will be opening soon (Advanced players call us
and get on the waiting list 253-226-3594)
Players start in the Scratch division for 6 matches to establish their averages. Once averages are established (after 6 matches)
players are moved to a division according to skill level. The scratch division plays heads up with no handicapping
and pays weekly like every division. Payouts are perportional to participating players in their division that week.
3 times a year we have a tri-annual event. This event is played on the weekend and all the rooms play simultaneously.
West coast start time 10:00, east coast 1:00. All players play two rounds Saturday morning. Once all matches are uploaded
we calbulate the top 75% of the field to move to on. The Sudden death round is one match on Saturday and the top 1/3 of
the total field plays in the finals on Sunday. Finals are the best of two matches. Each division pays seperately.
The next tri-annual event is Aug. 4-5. Player must have played 11 matches by Aug. 2.
