This is the "no master" series final event with only a $35 entry fee that includes your greens fee. Calcutta, no handicaps, red circle cue balls, great food and plenty of parking!!

The finals format is 8-ball race to 5 double-elimination. The race will not be shortened regardless of the size of the field. No matches will be called after 1am so anyone still remaining at that point will return for the completion of the event at noon on Sunday.

You must have played in at least one no masters event in order to qualify for this event. No new entrants will be accepted!

Please check out the flyer:

This is a guaranteed $1500 added final event.

Next weekend

I am hoping to see 128 players in this event!!!! I know there were 100 in the last "No Masters" event....

Hey Duane do you have results from the masters final? Did Bowman and the boys from the quadcities show up?

If you click on the previous results link posted above you can check any event. The finals results are posted.

No, we did not see anyone from the QC area. I believe they went to Peoria last weekend.

After the Finale's do you have any other tournaments that run through the summer months? I'm going to be in Wisconsin May - June and will want to play a tourney or two while there.

Thanks!

Wow Randy Tenly got 3rd thats awesome he has been shooting real good as of late good job Randy!!

Not usually. The Thursday night handicapped 9-ball tourney is your best bet in Beloit during the summer. The break-n-run pot makes it worthwhile. Someone recently took 6K home but it's still growing fast again.

A night with plenty of people around is Wednesday. The summer league starts the second week of June and it's a full house and plenty of fun. Usually a little action after leagues too!

Yeah, he really earned it too. Beating Dave Coles, Gil Hernandez, Gregg Andler and Jamie Welch to start. He probably liked buying himself in the calcutta for $10!!

Doors open at 10 am for free practice until noon. Lights out and no shooting on the tournament tables during the calcutta. So get there early if you need to hit a few balls.

Any players that have been here and played have any comments? Positive, negative or constructive criticism are all welcome.

Our goal is to make this the premier event in the midwest.

Let us know!

You must be present by the end of the calcutta in order to play.

If you go deep in the tournament be preprared for a two-day event. No matches played after "bar" time. Remaining players start at noon on Sunday.

Looks like some snow this weekend but should all be clear by tournament time the following week for this event.

Plenty of 9' tables available to keep busy between matches with ring games, match ups or just staying loose.

Suggestions?

Duane, you guys really put on a great event. I also have to say that for an establishment, you guys have GREAT tables on which to play for the event. I like the fact that the tables play relatively similar from table to table and that the same cloth is used throughout on all the tables used in the tournament. This is HUGE.

You guys are doing everything right and I think that this is evident in the turnout for every event. It was too bad that there was not a bigger showing for the OPEN finals.

I think that for the money it is ridiculous not to come and give it a shot....OPEN or No Masters. I think that you guys could put on two finals events however for each division.... A 9-ball and an 8-ball event. I also recommend perhaps trying a 10-ball series or event. In my opinion, 10-ball is going to gain momentum in this country as a premier money game. I also think that banks will soon be more popular as well. Perhaps having a challenge mini-tournament or banks ring game on the 9-footers would be cool during the event.

Just my feedback and two cents worth...

Thanks for the suggestions, Patrick. I'll bring those up in our next committee meeting. We'll be getting flyers out fairly soon for the fall season.

You don't have to play to make money. Be a bidder in the calcutta!

Everyone is welcome to bid. Come and buy a few horses and sweat the action to make it a fun day :)

One more suggestion

It would also be nice to have a barbox or two for action during the tournament....

I get robbed on the big tables....
