Q-Balls Pool Hall is hosting a second benefit Pool tournament and a benefit Dart tournament for Donnie Reynolds. Donnie was diagnosed with Stage 4 Esophageal Cancer in late 2007. Donnie had been hospitalized and after extensive treatment has decided to go home under Hospices’ care. Donnie is 44 and married to Robin Barrow Reynolds. Donnie and Robin have three children and one grandchild and live in Prairieville. Proceeds will help the family with mounting medical bills and living costs.
The pool tournament starting at 1:00 PM Saturday April 25th and will continue Sunday April 26th if needed. The entry fee is $10.00 and there will be a Calcutta. The entry fees will go to Team Donnie, the Calcutta will go to the winners. Places paid to be determined by the number of entries. The tournament will be single person play, double elimination, race to two (loser breaks).
The Dart Tournament will start at 3pm saturday. For further information on the Dart tournament contact Q-Balls at 225-644-4006.
There will be Jambalaya Plates for sale and a Live Auction on items donated.
Please come out and help support this family and also help raise awareness of this disease. It is the 2nd deadliest cancer and starts with Barrett’s Esophagus, which is caused by acid reflux. Know your risks. Get Checked.
