A fellow APA member in my area has been diagnosed with Crohn's disease with complications. We're having a benefit to help offset the cost of all of the tests and treatments. Along with barbecue plates and auction, there will be a 8-ball pool tournament as well. $20 entry fee, with half the proceeds going to the benefit and the other half to the winners. This is all going to help an amazing person who is not only battling a very difficult disease but is also a single mother of 2, so the bigger the turnout the better. Details can be found here:
