Benson Bar Cue

Do any of you know if this cue maker is still around ? My uncle was one of the 1st down here in texas to bring some of these into Fort Worth, I still have one, that lets see, Is 30-35 years old. Cue is stamped at bottom of butt with "BBQ". Still plays great, Still looks almost as good as it did back then.
 
According to the 3rd Edition Blue Book of Pool Cues page 164-5 Richard Benson is still making 100-200 cues a year with the aid of his son Chris in Kennewick, Washington. One of these days I am going to drive down to meet him and check out his shop setup and visit with him regarding his perspective on cue building. I'm sure after 30+ years of creating cues he posesses a wealth of knowledge just waiting to share his little tricks he has learned to build a better cue.

Well I knew of Richard Benson, But was unsure if he was the same Benson That made these Benson bar cues
