There's a good chance I'll be traveling in the near future, probably around South America and then SE Asia.
Ideally, I'd like to bring my playing cue (2 shafts) and a J/B cue. What's the best case for traveling, assuming a decent amount of time on buses or walking?
I figure it has to be light-weight, but then it also has to protect very well, much better than just some case one uses to drive to the pool hall and back, as it will probably get banged around quite a bit. It also should be quite comfortable on one's shoulder for an extended period of time.
My first thought was going with a Whitten 2x3, as Whitten's are the sturdiest cases I've ever seen; I feel like I could drive my car over one and my cues would be fine. But of course they're also heavy...
It's quite hard maybe impossible to find one that has both great protection and low weight, but what are people's opinions on cases that are the best mix of the two?
