Best cue case for storage

Hello Cue Makers,

What is the best pool case for storage of cues over a long period? I currently use a Porper 4x8 butterfly for storage and transport to the pool hall. I love that case, but it doesn't seem to be the best case for long term storage, as the pockets are not rigid.
As my collection grows I don't want to keep all the cues together, so I would like to get the input of some of the makers for the best way to store cues for a long period. If for whatever reason you wouldn't like your opinion public, feel free to PM me and I keep that info to myself.
Thanks in advance for the info.

My personal feelings. I wouldn't use a butterfly case if you paid me. I have a Porper 4x8 oval hard case. Got a couple of dealer 12x24 also Porper and a 24x48 Asian version of the Porper. Hard cases and tapered insides. I wouldn't use anything else.

Thank you! When the cues are at the house I usually hang them and just use the butterfly for transport. But I don't like leaving the cues hanging when I'm at work, as I don't want them stolen and will start putting them in the safe when I'm not home. I'll look into the Porper hard case. Appreciate the info.

Hi Jon
Sorry. I hear of people hanging their cues. And I just dont get it. If you don't have a temperature and humidity controlled enviroment. Is hanging them really good for them. There's a lot of good cases out there. The most important part for me. Is that I prefer a case with tapered insides. Not sure of the availability or Porper cases but if you type 4x8 oval hard case. You can get one on line for about $95. Shipped. It looks like Joe's but it's not. 2 pouches and tapered inside.
Hope this helps.
