How are the local weekly tournaments like in the States?
In Club-8 in Amsterdam; www.club-8.nl, we have one every Thursday night. The attendance is extremely high. For the 6 months we've consistently had more than 30 players. The last month even worse; in the forties. Yesterday we had 46 players. Furthermore, the tournaments are visited by top Dutch players on a regular basis. So you can just imagine the stiff competition.
Well I'm bragging, but I am very curious about how it is in the States or elsewhere for that matter.
