Best glue

Looking for the best glue to use for glueing rails on. Tried 3M 77, doesn't seem to hold very well. Would contact cement be better?

Your absolutely right on the mark with that one SD. Tried it on my best friends table and this stuff works great! I picked it up at a local 3M dealer for under $20 with tax, title, and license but not everyone has that convenience. Give it a try. Sets up quick too.
