All right all you pool buffs and handicappers I am going to start a list of the top players in each of the last five decades. Here is my quick list of the top players in the 1950's. I will list the 1950's-1990's and our current decade, feel free to pick the lists apart.
1950's
Onepocket
1. Rags Fitzpatrick
2. Eddie Taylor (Banked so good he was hard to trap in a shot)
3. Hayden Lingo (Just heard stories his prime may have been earlier)
Straight Pool
1. Willie Mosconi (Ran more 100's then anyone ever)
2. Irving Crane (The best East Coast player in an East Coast game)
3. Babe Cranfield (May be the second most talented 14.1 player ever)
Nineball
1. Wimpy Lassiter (dominated the game for 25 years)
2. Don Willis (May be biased but he batted around 1.000 for over 20 years)
3. Rags Fitzpatrick (An untimely death makes people forget this legend)
Bank Pool
1. Eddie Taylor (Played about a ball better then everyone else, when he wasn't drunk with a few drinks to take the edge off)
2. Youngblood (I heard he was a monster the precursor to Cannonball Chapman and Bugs Rucker)
3. Johnny Irish (9ball and bank monster)
Next are the 1960's I will put that up later tonight
