Any opinions on the best books/videos/websites out there for new cue makers to make sure they have in their library.
Or let me phrase it this way. What would the be the best "Information" to start out with. Opinions of course!
Chris Hightowers book? Popular videos?
I have made custom flyrods in the past, and there are a few "bibles" in that subject. I am getting started, and have been doing simple cue repairs for about a year (tips, wraps, refinishing) and my interest in the next step is peaked....

I agree with nbll01 if you just want to get your feet wet. I have videos from Unique, Hightower, Diekman, and Joe at cue components. They all are good sources for information. In order to be a custom cue maker, you will want to use others process and tweek for your self. Several of the steps I go through are a combonations of all. If you have the extra money start with Cue comonents. These videos by far have the most information but cost the most. I would have saved a ton on shaft wood if I purchased his first.
