I am considering buying a 2X2 soft side case for less than $150. Protection of the cues is top priority, does not need to have to be fancy appearance. Does anybody have any suggestions? Your opinions are appreciated. Thank you.

2 x 2 soft cue cases

You can go for Action,Outlaw,Viper or McDermott Pool Cue Cases. The price for the different cues could be checked online.

Soft side and protection don't go hand in hand. Not that you can't dind a decent sofe sided case that protects too. Just sayin'.

there is also a discount through seyberts if you use the code aparules

Is predator 4x8 soft case good?

I've got one, it seems to do just fine, good case, lots of pad, but for the money and if you're looking for a 2 X 4, I'd seriously consider the Sterling. But if you happen to be looking for one of the older Silver Fox cases (the 4 X...) let me know...

I have a soft Sterling 4 x 8 that has the padded interior that I think is similiar to JB's cases. The outside is very much like the Action but black. I paid less than $40 for it NEW on ebay.

But if you want protection I'd go with a Sterling wave or JB's rugged nylon.

Depends on your taste, of course but Native Encasements has several styles of soft and hard cases made to order.
