Best sounds for straight pool tournament?

I was watching a match on youtube and the stereo went from Quiet Riot to something easy listening and I was wondering how it wasn't screwing up the player's rhythm.

What music, or sounds would be best in your opinion for a straight pool tournament?
 
People who need to listen to "music" while playing pool are not serious about pool and don't really like music.

The best sounds to me are the called balls falling into the pockets :D

If there's any music at all IMO it is strictly a personal preference, I like either silence, quiet jazz or so-called "easy listening" music.
 
A live old school blues band would be cool. Steel guitar, harmonica, gravelly voice kinda thing.

Either no music or else some Delta Blues or Piano Blues instrumentals :)

I agree though that the best sounds are the sounds of a ball dropping into the pocket, especially when it's the break ball and getting a nice wide open break :thumbup:
