Beware IPT Supporters

Nice post Rude Dog! But since I don't have your number I will reply. There is a bigger point besite this being a scam and Kevin a convicted scam artist. Yes players only can loose 900 and that's it but this tour is not sanctioned by the WPA and they pick their dates whenever they want. Like during the US Open or during the WPC. These tournaments that have been there for a long time will get into trubles with their sponsors if the big players cannot come and play and they will not see another year because of our friend Kevin. And believe me Kevin is not going to be there for a long period.
Also deciding to make different rules is a bit strange, deciding to have a duel and giving it the name of the World 8-ball championship is just plain stupid.

Almost all major tournament organizer is WPA sanctioned, so all these people decided to become sanctioned by the WPA. But our money trowing friend is not going to sanctioned because he doesn't understand how this world works.

Can you tell me a club where you have to pay 899$ just to be a member.......
Can you also tell me more milionairs that tell you that they will give away money because of the love of the game without even knoing the game....

Kevin might even organize a tour but when he leaves the global pool will be trown 10 years back and he will probally pay of his conviction with the money of the poolplayers or his selling a book with among other things a cure for cancer and diabetis.....

Maybe those of us that are interested in pool having a lot of money in the prize funds and are willing to put up the $899, just do it. And for the rest of you that are so against the idea of maybe this being for real, and whether or not your greedy little hands can benifit from it, stay the fuck out of it. Pretty simple! The players are excited about this, why put it down before it even gets started? If the guy, Kevin T., wants to put his money into pool and making something happen for the deserving players, then what do you naysayers have to lose? This shit makes me sick. If the guy burns every single person that puts up the $899 membership fee, how much is he going to make? 100, 200, 300 thousand? Who cares? Oh, I know who cares, all you assholes that will get to say, " I told you so." But, if this thing works, you same assholes will find something else to cry about but you'll be on the I.P.T. bandwagon, for sure............................Yeah, I'm venting, fuck ya. Email me, pm me, hell, call me if you got my number, or, even better yet, come to Kingman and kick my ass for speaking my mind. I'm just sick of all the B.S. when a good idea comes along and someone wants to put money INTO the pockets of players, instead of TAKING it away from them. I know I'll never make a dime off of it, but that's okay. I may get to play in a tournament with a chance at winning $300,000 for 1st place, instead of sitting at home saying to myself, "Even if I won that tournament, it wouldn't have covered the nut."

Yeah Woody is right money is not an issue with this guy at all. You have to look at these guys a little different then the average guy sad but true. The Donald goes bankrupt pays pennies on the dollar to people he owes and still during all this lives like a king flys around in his helicopter, jet, goes everywhere in a limo, keeps his penthouse with everything plated in gold and spends millions on a wedding. Go figure, the average joe on the street could never get away with that, but moguls and corporations get away with it all the time, when they owe the government or other people they cry poor mouth and still live like kings with plenty of money. I don't know how they do it, but it must be nice to have lawyers that know all the ins and outs:D

just an FYI, trump doesn't declare PERSONAL bankruptcy.........his COMPANIES file bankrubtcy. That has NOTHING to do with his personal wealth.

well, i'm sure that the IPT is and entity of its own. therefore if it doesn't work out, the IPT declares bankruptcy and shuts down. this won't effect kevin personally at all.

it would really suck for everyone that if you owned a company and it doesn't work out, you lose your own personal wealth. most people who start companies fail on average at least twice before they are successful.

Do you really think anyone would give a shit about the WPC or any other tournament if the IPT's tournaments are paying out $300,000 or more? NOPE.

Are you serious? Have you heard of country clubs where you pay tens of thousands of dollars to be a member and play on their courses? Membership dues? They're everywhere, grocery stores, Blockbuster, Elk's Lodge, you name it, they're there. I think some of us are on the same page here and some of us are concerned about the repercussions the game of pool may suffer if this doesn't work out. But, how much further can the image of pool go down than it already is today? The top players, the VERY best our sport has to offer, make $100,000 a year. Sure, that sounds nice until you compare it to other top athletes in other sports. Plus, of that $100,000, there are expenses these players have to cover, such as hotel bills, rental cars, airline tickets, plus pay their own bills for their families waiting at home for them. Without sponsors, these players can't even show up for the tournaments, no matter who's organization is running the show, including the W.P.A. I'm not knocking the W.P.A. or any other billiard organization, but when something like this comes along in the billiard industry, the support from the players is going to be there, no matter what, but the fans of this game should also be there with open arms and an open mind. NOT OPEN HANDS! Of course, this is JMHO, FWIW, and if someone doesn't like it, KMA. Peace, John.

That is what directors insurance is for :D Also, anyone who starts a business with so little confidence that they would not risk some of their personal wealth, is someone I personally would avoid as a partner. Please note this is a comment on VAPs comments, not directed at the IPT nor Kevin Trudeau.

Dave

BTW, it would mostly suck for the owner VAP, not everyone ... there would likely be a batch of creditors who would benefit from gaining access to a bankrupt owners assets, if they could.
