PLEASE BE CAREFUL WITH SELLING ON CRAIGS LIST

I WAS JUST SCAMMED FROM HAVING MY TABLE FOR SALE ON THERE. THE CHECK THE PERSON SENT TO ME WAS A CASHIERS CHECK THAT WAS FAKE, BE VERY CAREFUL OF ALL LETTERS THAT LOOK LIKE FORM LETTERS DO NOT EVEN RESPOND. THE PERSON I WAS SELLING THE TABLE TO SENT ME A CHECK FOR TWO THOUSAND MORE THAN MY PURCHASE PRICE AND I WAS TO TRANSFER THE BALANCE TO HIS SHIPPER. THIS IS A MONEY LAUNDERING SCAM DO NOT FALL FOR IT.

and an old one at that. NEVER take a deal when the buyer offers to send more than the purchase price. Ask yourself why he wouldn't do that himself...

Craigslist has warnings posted all over the site to warn you about this scheme. I didn't think anyone was falling for this one anymore.

I always just go to the bank of the person sending the money. If I can not I wait a long time till sending anything. I actually get confirmation from the bank, and then wait some more. Postal Money Order is a very safe way to accept payment as is paypal if you don't mind the fee's. Just don't do foreign bidders on Paypal. What happened to you actually happened to a friend of mine several years ago. He was on the evening news. Why would any normal buyer send extra money with the intention of getting some of it back? Just use common sense and you will not fall for this B.S.

I just got an email from a girl whose father is an Interior Minister in Zimbabwe. It seems that he has fallen ill, and is asking his daughter to send some funds abroad so that she can attend college in the US. She needs the number to my bank account. She wants to transfer 15 million dollars US to my account, of which she is willing to pay me 3 million dollars US for the accommodation. My question is, should I hold out for more? Wolf

Take it

Take the three and run,run is the word.Oh make sure your balance is zero:eek: when you give them the info:D
