Otaye now i have something i need to ask as i was messing around with this last night. My cue's pivot point is 10-15" so very hard to use when cueball is close to the rail. So is it possible to get down over the cueball and raise your bridge hand to cue over the top of the cueball and pivot to english then bring the cueball in that line then aim and stroke.? Just a question. Thanks in Advance guys :D

i dont hardly see how you could use bhe on the rails with a pivot point that far back......did you ask colin? I know his video finally made me understand bhe lol. I usually shift over and use parallel english if i have to on rail shots and long shots.....just works better for me.

i don't mean the cueball touching the rail as where you have to elevate your cue, but close to the rail where you can't bridge at the pivot point. But what i mean is raising the bridge hand with the cue over the top of the cueball to your cues pivot point, then pivot for english, then bringing the cue back to the cueball. This way i am still pivoting at the cues pivot point, did i make sense there LOL. I was hoping for Colin or Fred to add there Info on this, hope they see the thread and reply. Thanks Laser, and Scotty for posting.

I think I understand what you are saying. It seems to make sense, so I would have to say, it won't work. The main thing about BHE is, you have to know your cues squirtiness and pivot point. To use it with a longer or shorter bridge, would change the cueballs path, I think..., come to think of it, I don't know. I do have a headache now though.

Air bridging for the pivot is as easy and as intuitive. Slide forward after the pivot.
