Hi Folks,

Can anyone give me the approximate value of a fifteen year old Gandy Big "G" table. The table is dis-assembled and in storage. It was used for years at Classic Billiards in Rochester, NY. The owner is interested in selling at least one but, there are five others available. Thanks in advance for your assistance.

I paid $1,875 for mine. I purchased it right out of a pool hall. I would be concerned about the cushions. If they are not used, they tend to go bad. The $1,875 included moving the table about 50 miles and setting it up. I also had Simonis put on it for an additional $200. Well worth it. I purchased it in 1999. I love it.

I love my Big "G" also Purdman, they are great tables, super with the Simonis on it.

OK Mr. Jones, what did ya pay for it? Table, moving & set up, and Simonis.
You know, humility is a funny thing. Once you think you got it, you lost it!!!!!
I wonder if the same thing applies to enlightenment. Ponderous man, ponderous.

I got mine at a steal!! A grand for the table alone! I didnt' have it delivered I went and got it, drove out ot Tunica and picked it up. Rental van, gas, hotel and gambling $500. I dropped $50 on the Black Jack table cuz I forgot rule #1, leave the table when they change dealers, but I won it back playing Baccarat. $200 for the Simonis and $320 for the setup and install. So you got the better overall deal but it was a fun wekend none the less. About $2000 for the total experiance. After playing on the table tho, I prefer it over the Brunswicks I play on in league. I believe it has made me a better player.

That and it made me almost have to shoot with inside english on most of my shots, that translated to much better ball control and more potted balls when I got to play on a Brunswick in league play. Smoked a SL5 week1 and then a SL7 in week2.

Hi Buddha,

Did you buy your table from an individual or a billiard room? I am attempting to get a fair value estimate for our room owner. Any advice would be apppreciated. Thanks.
