It's friggin Turkey Day and you're at a pool hall :thumbup: I would've traded places with you......for a little while.

If you ever make it to Colorado Springs...go into Antique Billiards. Love to see some shots of you playing on all the different gnerations of tables.

I stopped in there one day and told my wife I would call her when I was ready to go. She hits the mall across the street and as it turns out, no cell service in the mall!!

Meanwhile I start hitting $20 races to five with a local. After being down 3 sets, I realize I'm in over my head! LOL. I start calling my wife to get me out of there, I lost $120 before she was done shopping! Turned out the pool was the cheapest part of the story!! Lmao.

I've got to take her debit card away! :shocked:

I just got back from Morristown and was just recently out there at Comet a few times myself. The last night I was there, the power went out for a couple seconds and since I was thinking of checking out anyways, I settled up and headed out.

I just turned south and headed down Parsipanny over the highway for a minute and "Pow!", a huge flash of powerline electrical sparks exploded and showered down on the road about 200 feet in front of me.

There was a car there right underneath where the wires exploded stopped with a flare behind it with power lines draping down very close to it. It was difficult to see if anyone was hurt because all the lights went out. There wasn't any police or fire dept there yet and it was concerning to say the least, but with power lines dangling around and about, there really isn't anything you can do but stay in the car and hope no one else doesn't drive in this mess.

Fortunately, the police finally showed up and it seemed that there wasn't any serious injuries, which seemed good.

Not sure how soon the power came back on, but as folks have said, Comet is a very good place to play pool. I was real busy the last few days of this week, but I wish I could have said hello to Bigtruck and any other AZ'ers while I was out there!

I'm always up for shooting some with forum members, especially....when it's in my backyard. Maybe next time...

This is WIO2 making a shot, You're correct the entire place was awesome!! No smoking, No Booze!! No BYOB!! Just Pool!! They must have 20+ 9fts a 6 x12 Snooker and food and sodas.

did you ever get a chance to ask him how he affords to stay in business!?!

We definitely need a place like this in Texas. Badly.
