i'm thinking about taking some pool lessons, however i don;t know any places where i can take some. i'm from vancouver bc canada, it would be a great help if you can provide me some website or numbers.

Check with the BCA. They should be able to give you a list of BCA certified instructors up in your area. I would imagine a place like Vancouver would have plenty of instructors. Another idea is to go to your local pool room and ask if there is an instructor there. Find out who he is and watch him play to see if he fits your criteria. On the other side of that, someone could be a great player but a lousy teacher....and vice versa. Good luck on your quest, Jedi. I'd go the "contacting the BCA" route first though.

"Sarge" the trick shot guy *(Ken Aylesworth) lives in Seattle and is a BCA instructor. If you get "The Break" newspaper he has an ad.

go to www.bca-pool.com/play then select "instruction" and you will find two lists...one of active instructors and one of reserve instructors. The reserve list is only an indication that those instructors work with a limited number of students each year.

You can see view it on line - it is www.onthebreaknews.com. Sarge is a very nice guy - has a real passion for pool. I have known him since I was 18 or so. Retired from the air force and started perfecting his trick shots in Arizona, married "Charly", moved to the Seattle area, gives trick shot exhibitions and is BCA instructor.
