Can anyone tell me what the story is with this instructional video set? I've never heard of this guy winning anything (and anyone who puts a Yanni quote on his site is seriously suspect in my book) but he's supposed to be a decent instructor since he's BCA certified. Doesn't look like he's from the old school though...looks more like a hairdresser or something.
Is there good instructional material on this in regards to stroke, strategy,etc...or is this mainly confidence and attitude training?
I don't want to sound negative but with Monks' books, Capelles' books,Jimmy Reids' videos,etc... the market for the touchy-feely mental game preparation is getting kind of overloaded. I'm reading an aiming book by Leveck that's 574 pages long and a good bit of that is attitude training, also.
What happened to the good ole days where players just wanted to drill their opponents at the table ? Maybe the time is right for Keith McCready to write an instructional book- drink some longneck Buds, talk some trash, run racks and collect the cash.
"How you like it, Jack Daddy?!!" --quote of McCready talking smack to Ronnie Allen during their one pocket match with Platis as Keiths' partner and Ronnie shooting one handed half the time. Keith had just made a great shot.
