While on business in Buffalo NY I stopped in at Bison Billiards on Monday night and just wanted to give them a mention as I think anyone who is promoting the game in a positive way and putting in their own time and money deserves all the support they can get. Nice room with a great selection of equipment to play on from Diamonds to the Gabriels.
The owners Mike and his son a real nice welcoming folks and were even kind enough to lend me a cue to hit few balls as I left mine at home.
Next time your in the area be sure and drop in and support the room.

Ive been seeing them with an online presence more and more as I research daily billiard news.

I think I will send them an email and do a review of them as they are making a name for themselves.

Played in a tournament there last weekend. It is everything the OP said about it. One of the very few poolrooms still supporting three cushion billiards. Mike's a class act and so is his room!

Absolutely, I shall send you an email tomorrow while I am at the hall. That would be great! And I am not sure if he was or not, but Danny is a great guy and gives lessons for many people in the Buffalo area on our tables. He has a ton of knowledge, and also promotes the game like no other!

great room

mike sr and jr run a class act and have never been anything but good to me, and the other patrons in the room...these guys know how to run a pool room, great equipment, and maintainenance of it and a refreshing thing to see not just 9 ball or 8 ball quality action but a large following of billiards, straight pool and even some 1 hole...and they arent just hacks, these guys can play some sporty 3 cushion, etc... and appreciate the game. i agree, mike and mike are really moving and know how to run a pool hall which is refreshing... AND THE BOTH OF THEM AND THERE FAMILY ARE GEUINELY GOOD PEOPLE which again refreshing to see in a pool room. Dont get me wrong, there is solid action and players so bring your game or just come to enjoy the game... PROPS TO BISON BILLIARDS!
