BK2 tip change

Has anyone tried putting a hard leather tip on a BK2 if possible. If so how does it hit?

I have changed quite a few since bca banned phenolic,i mostly use samsara or sometimes some other hard tips,i think they break better with a lot more control

I agree. Had a friend put a hard WB tip on his and it broke great. He was even able to jump a full ball with it. Im not a big fan of phenolic as it is. The samsara tip is hard to beat but if you want to save a few bucks throw a Super Pro on there. You wont be disappointed.

Just make sure that who ever does the change for you leaves the black pad on the ferrule, if they remove it and glue the tip on, your shaft will shatter and it won't be covered under warranty. There is a sticker on the shaft when you first get it explaining this.

You should give Mad Man Extra Hard or Super Hard Laminated cue tip ... to replace phenolic. They break like a cannon ball! $10.00 each. PM me.
