Black Boar AS-2

I recently acquired the repaired Black Boar from Mike aka Quality Cues. I have also had the unique opportunity to test this AS-2 against a ebony AS-2 made in the same era. I have to say that i could not feel the difference in the cues!!! I am amazed with the ease that I can move the ball around and finesse of slow english shots when playing a game of one pocket etc...The cue plays absolutely amazing! Actually considering this to be my full time cue.....but as many of you know already, i am a total cue whore!

Boars play good they are up there with Szams, IMO, I play with a newer Boar and everyone who has played with it loves it, and thats alot of players(pros).

Gus still built the best overall cues and will awalys be my favorite cue maker, Tony at Black Boar is a friend, Barry Szam is as well. Both of them learned alot from Gus on how to make a good playing cue.

the AS-2 is a great cue and i'm sure plays good as anything, you can move the white ball with it and control it real good at the same time.
