Look at what the 1st & 2nd editions are selling for. If you buy the 3rd for, what is it $45?, you will have something after a year. With an online subscription you are left empty handed. I think an online subscription would be more attractive if it were $5 or $10. Then many people would probably get them. The online version could also be constantly edited and kept up-to-date. So my thought is, they are really missing out on a lot of earning potential, by over pricing the subscriptions.
