I have a nice Bob Frey sneaky pete forsale, i believe it is bacote wood into maple. Has a 3/8-10 modified pin. Comes with original Frey shaft and a 5 splice OB shaft with large black collar. Many of us know Bob learned from one of the best ever (Tim Skruggs), and many believe that he built many of the Skruggs Sneaky Pete’s for some time. The hit is amazingly similar, but without the sky high price tag. The Frey shaft rolls good together and apart, the OB shaft has a little lift of the tip when together. The butt of the cue is in overall good condition, there is one ding about 1-1/2” from the joint and it is pictured, there is also one spot by the top of one of the points where it looks like the finish is slightly dull, it also is pictured. Other than that, the cue is an 8.5/10 condition wise just because of the smallest skuffs that can’t even really be seen. All the points are the same length, the butt is 29” and weighs 15.06oz. They Frey shaft is 30” 4.02oz and 13mm at tip. The OB shaft is just under 29” 3.17oz and roughly 11.8mm at tip. Cue is a true wood to wood joint, with excellent balance and amazing hit and feel. Asking $sold obo shipped lower 48 PayPal preferred f&f or add 4% goods and services. Feel free to message me, or email cothronscott@yahoo.com more pictures available upon request.

This is most likely the best playing cue on this forum, I've played this one and I own a Scruggs true sneaky from the 80's. These are simple to make but turn into monsters on the table.
Lately i've been playing a Kielwood shaft with a Techno Dude tip and the Old wood Scruggs sneaky butt, its a combo from heaven.

IMO this Fry true sneaky should be 300 dollar more and sell quickly...

I don’t know about the best, but probably in the discussion. I would love to shoot with it, but I like a wrap and I have been using a radial pin cue for over a decade and I have tons of stuff to fit it as well as the fact that I’ve been using cf for sometime. You are right in that it could probably go for a decent amount more, but I do t have much in it and I’m not trying to get rich off of it. Back when I could barely afford a $300-$400 cue, I would have loved it if someone didn’t try to profit every dollar and I saw this cue. Maybe I’m wrong but being decent comes back around. I’ve never owned a Skruggs only hit with them that belonged to friends. If I found a decent one for the right price I’d probably be willing to put down the cf. But someone got a deal, it sold very fast.
