I talked to bobby tonight and he told me that he was supposed to match up with johnny archer on the bar box. He told me it was 12 ahead for set for 20000 in cookville Tennessee. He also stated that it was going to take place at the cue club {i think thats the name} in cookville sometime next week. Does anyone know if this is true? If any information pops up please post because I would like to go watch this game. thanks

How did Bobby say they were going to play? I'm sure Bobby would need a little weight.
 
Yeah, even on a bar box. If they play even, I'd wager a hefty side bet on Archer.

I am wondering for some one to take a 12 game lead how many quarters they will drop into the slot by the end of the match?

I would suspect the owner would just open the table for a fee, no? For a matchup like that, I can't see them putting in quarters...

Pretty salty when I have watched him play. Still, if they are playing even I would have to put money on Johnny if I were to bet.

I hope its true, pool needs action, action is what drives players and poker has done enough damage.

Pickle has been winning alot of games. I've seen them both play alot recently. I would pick on Pickle on his home table right now.Johny is not on at his best right now.

I would think that Pickles pet table was at JOB's right in front of the bar. He has played a lot at Cookeville in the past 4 mos. but JOB's would be his home court. I think if Johnny gives him anything he's booked a loser. Pickle has no weakness on a bar-table other than Budwiser.

Will Pickle be allowed to run that big mouth game he likes against Johnny or will Johnny make him keep all that trash talking away from the table, I watched Pickle play a young Black kid two years ago at Carolina Open in Goldsboro on a barbox and I would have been using the other end of the stick if I was the kid.--Leonard

I know Chris Bartrum gave Pickle the call 8 on the bar table in Cookeville and broke even, so I think Johnny can give Pickle a little something.
 
He didnt specify the game just said that it was 9 ball on the bar box in cookville tn sometime next week at the cue club I believe was the name. I really hope this is not bullshit because that would be a great match up. Im betting on bobby for a couple of hundred if anyone wants action. If any info is out there please post. Anyone know the number to the poolroom in cookville {cue club}?

Somebody let me know if this goes down. I'd definitely drive over to cookeville to see this. I'm tired of hanging around Knoxville anyways.
 
excellent sounding matchup! I wonder why 12 games and who proposed it? I also wonder if either of them have run 12 games on a barbox?!;)

I was told on Friday that Pickle played Danny Harriman last week two ahead sessions and they broke even. Sorry I dont have any more details.
