Hey Everyone,

Longtime lurker, first post.

Anyway, I was wondering if anybody knew where/if I could find copies of Buddy Hall's or Grady Matthews' books. If I'm not mistaken, Buddy's is out of print. I'm not really sure about Grady's, however. I've read Playing off the Rail, The Green Felt Jungle, Cornbread Red, McGoorty, and Hustler days and enjoyed them all immensely.

I've tried all of the usual avenues (Amazon, Overstock. etc..) and have had no luck.

Also, if you all have any suggestions for other books of a similar nature, I'd love to hear them.

Thanks Everyone!

Mine is available. Go to www.Gradymathews.com and you'll see how to order it. Grady

Thank you for the quick replies. Grady, I looked at your site and clicked on the link for the book. IT took me to http://www.poolbilliards.com/ , which seemed like a random advertising site that I couldn't find any information about your book on. Looking below, I saw an address to send payments to. I assume that I can order the book this way, so that's what I'll do.

Bandit, thanks for the advice about Ebay. I haven't seen anything in the past and basically quit looking, but there actually is a copy of Buddy Hall's book up there now, so I'll have to see what happens with it.

Underneath the picture of the book is the price. Slightly to the right and underneath my picture, it gives the address for sending a check or money order. Not sure why you get that poolbilliards thing. You may be sure it'll be fixed as soon as I contact the guy who runs my website. Thanks.

For a good laugh, check the completed listings for Buddy Halls book on Ebay. A guy paid over 300 bucks for one. "Buy it now" price on it is $175 last I looked and the book didn't even look to be in mint condition.

I thought it was worth 40 bucks when I got one a year ago in a billiard collection. Sucks for fans of Buddy who haven't had a chance to read it; I don't think I could shell out $200-$300 for it even though its an interesting book.

At least Eddie Robins' books (Winning One Pocket, Shots,Moves&Strategies) are hardbound one-of-a-kind instructional books at this price range.
