I must say that triangle is much better than master. i know they are both made by tweeten. I used the same chalking methods and the triangle is much cleaner. My table is much cleaner around the break spot area and my left hand is not blue. I cleaned my table just before trying the triangle chalk and after 2 weeks i am still not getting blue on my hand. Also I feel like it grips the ball a little better. It appears to coat my SS tip better than the masters and I dont have to chalk as much but do out of habbit and to line up my shot. I will be buying triangle over masters from now on.

I havent tried the blue diamond yet as I wanted to get a good reading on the triangle chalk. I kinda want to make the blue diamond last since it cost so much!

Any one else switch from masters to triangle?

I personally think Triangle is the best of the cheaper chalks...better than masters but not blue diamond...if u can find it u should give magic chalk a go...really good product made in russia I believe...i have about ten cubes left and I really like it

I play with Blue Diamond now, but still don't mind my blue Triangle.. I do notice a slight difference between Masters, and Triangle.

Ps. I wonder if i put one, upside down on the other, would two blue Triangles equal a Blue Diamond?! ;)

I read on a snooker forum that Triangle chalk is a different formula than Master chalk since it's mainly sold in the European market. The European players, especially snooker players, tend to have softer tips on their playing cues and the chalk is made differently to adhere to these tips better. I have no idea if this is true, although it seems to ring true with you since you're using a SS tip. I tried it on my hard tip and it wasn't working out too well.

+1 for Magic Chalk. It "says" it's made in Russia, but the general belief is that it's actually made in Mexico, since most of the sources/vendors for this great product are in Mexico.

I've done my own "chalk test" -- wearing cubes down to the nub, and out of Silver Cup, Triangle, Blue Diamond, Magic Chalk, and Master, I like Magic Chalk the best.
