Brand of staples that don't break so much?

I'm pulling staples from underside of subrails, and the staples are breaking like crazy. It's my own work, so I know it's the staples I used.

Is there a better quality of staples I can use, so my next re-felt won't be so annoying?

But....
Did you really use 3/8" length for cloth?

Arrow staples have been junk for a while now... Not sure what changed.

However, Bostitch have been pretty good.
Also, they come in a hard plastic case, which is quite a nice feature.

These work nicely, but you need a staple gun that does 1/2" crown.

It's a really old table - last thing I removed were tacks - most of the subrails were so chewed up. Except one, which looks like it might have been replaced at some point? Didn't even notice this, last time around. Seems even like tighter grain, so maybe different wood? Or, just not 87 years old, like the rest of it.
Anyhow, staples all pulled now, and only this one had the breaking problems, thankfully.

I'll try 1/4 this time...
