The BRASS RAIL Viking Tour IN ATHENS is ON. The tournament will go on as planned.

They did lose their Beer & Liquor license temporarily but the show (Tourney) will go on as planned.

I recommend that if you want Alcaholic beverages,,,,,, Bring a cooler. There will be a huge party in the parking lot.

Corvette, rumors have a way of disapating like that.

Also, please remember before you hit the post key please verify rumors like that. I know you put the words "might be closed" in there but it was something that could have had a direct impact on the event and it was totally uncalled for at the time of the post. Others used a bit more tact and called or pm'd me to get the facts straight before posting something that could have been detrimental to the outcome of the event. I hope you understand where I am coming from on this.

I'll buy the first shot or all the shots, doesn't matter. I posted what I heard directly from the staff at the Brass Rail. It was not rumors. I also posted every 15 min. or so as to the latest developments as they were happening. I had privvy to Papa Murph sitting outside the Rail (hitting on the paralegal) , the lawyers comings and goings, and exactly what was happening. I was also in touch with a couple of the bigger guns directly as they wanted to know if the tourney was on and didn't have access to a computer. Next time I'll just let everyone fend for themselves.
 
I remember years ago they lost thier Liquor license. I'm wanting to say some kid got drunk and a DUI and blamed Brass Rails. Because I was 17 at the time and they changed the age to 21. But they knew my face enough to where they allowed me to play.

But a Party in the Parking lot? Sounds like a good crazy time. Golden Grain for everyone. Too bad I have other obligations tonight.
