Which cue would you reccomend ?
Arnot, sledgehammer, mace or any others ? Considering to get a piece...
 
Sorry, but I still recommend the Cuetec J/B w/quick release! The best cue I've broke with, thus far! I have tried the sledgehammer once but didn't like it!

I have to agree with Zim........For the money the CueTec B/J is a great deal. Some of those cues mentioned above are kinda high for just a B/J cue. I would recomend trying out other peoples Break Cues to see what is right for you. My preferance is about 18 ounces for mine..............I am sure you can find a few people with different Break cues that wouldn't mind you breaking a few racks. This way you can tell the differences for yourself. But for the money it will be tough to beat the CueTec!
 
I just got myself a Jump/break cue from a "Jerico Q's" it's called a thumper... As I got this cue home...racked a set of 9 balls and broke with it... the 9 ball sank. I guess a love a first break thing.
I know, I know... total fluke.

As far a jumping...I've tried my friends 3 piece Bunjee and this Jerico cue feels better and jumps easier...the Bunjee I had to kind of dig into the ball.

Anybody remember the Picone Break Cue from 10 years or so ago. Was suppose to be the S**T back then. I still have one we bought. It was a house cue cut in half........with a Delrin Butt cap. It also had a brown ring on the shaft and a black ring on the butt for the joint. He didn't even turn the cue down.....It's fat just like a house cue, and even has the 3/4" fiber ferrule that came on the house cue. LOL..........I know we weren't the only ones that bought one of these cues from him. I believe he is making cues today???? Not sure.
 
I want a pure break cue only.. But have too many choices.. That's y need you guys for advices.....
 
i just bought a new j&j they used to make an inferior jump break cue...but things have changed...it's the best cue i've found for just breaking the balls..it has a 14mm shaft and a phenolic tip...i get a ton of extra power out of it...and no offense but as far as the cuetech goes it is by far the weakest break cue out there
