Here's an abbreviated post on some aggregate break statistics from the 6th Annual Ginky Memorial 10-Ball event played May 29 and 30 at Steinway Billiards in Queens, NY. Free streaming was provided by AZBtv. This was a 53-player double-elimination event won by Zion Zvi.

Nine pro-event matches were streamed on the main table, totaling 125 games. I missed all or part of 5 of those games, so these stats are for 120 games.

Break-and-run games: The 17 break-and-run games represented 14% of all 120 games, 28% of the 61 games won by the breaker, and 26% of the 66 games in which the break was successful (made a ball and didn't foul). The 17 break-and-run games consisted of one 4-pack (by Dechaine), one 2-pack (by Dechaine), and eleven singles.
10-balls on the break: The 10-ball was made on the break 4 times (3.3% of the 120 breaks), but it did not count as a game win and was spotted.

- 9-foot Brunswick Gold Crown table with fairly worn green cloth;
- Delta-13 triangle rack;
- rack your own;
- winner breaks from anywhere behind the head string;
- jump cues allowed; and
- call-shot, call-safe rules.
