Break This (2)

Here's what I'd like to have happen. I'd just want to gently follow off of the 11 to barely graze the bottom of the 5-ball, hopefully just barely following the cueball past it to have a shot on the 13. If I went too far and the 13 became too difficult I'd use the 9. If I went way too far, I'd probably draw off of the 14 to get back to where I wanted on the 13 or 9 being sure not to come too far and get stuck behind the 5.

On the 13-ball shot, I think follow will still allow the 2-ball to be struck before the 8 or 12. If not, I may try to stun it. I don't think I'd want to draw it though, because the 9-ball wouldn't be a good insurance ball if I didn't get the cueball forward, and I'm not good enough to tell whether the caroms would allow the 12-ball to head toward the upper corner for insurance. I don't think the 12-ball will move if the 2 ball isn't struck first.

I like going into the top of the 4/5 cluster softly. By just nudging these balls they should open up in a way to give two simple options for setting up on the 13. I do not think that you can get below the 5 for the breakout like pepper tries and even if you could I do not like it because it is hard to control the cue ball and there is a possible scratch if you over hit it a little bit. I like getting a relatively shallow angle on the 13 and following into the 12. This should spread everything out and leave the 12 or 3 as a good break ball.
