Hello Shawn, I am 6' 5" tall, and since you are tall, I was wondering if you could give me some advise on my break and stance. I am having a vey bad time with my break right now. I have watched video's of Johnny Archer and I know my timing is off. It is hard to see what I am doing, and I don't know the proper way to work on this and some tips on a stance to try to see how it feels would by a big help. I am going to set up a video camera and record my break, then if I could get some tips try those and see if I can see the difference. Thanks for your time.

Hello Bill !!
Obviously the stance for breaking vs. shooting are diferent because you have to shift your weight so much when you break.

Aim your front foot more towards the 1-ball and your back foot like your pushing off a pitchers mound so when you shift your weight from front to back and then back to front , you can put all your weight into the break.

There's a hand full of techniqes that have to come together to make your timing work.

I am a good teacher and am qualified to help you with your timing , but , I would like you to ask CHARLIE BRYANT to . He is the best teacher I've ever met and I'm curious to hear what he has to say.

If you still want me to help you with your timing I will be glad to help you.

YOUR FRIEND,
Shawn Putnam
