broke sledgehammer pheno tip

Recently after I broke my sledgehammer phenolic tip split in half, I belive I read the sledgehammer has a lifetime warranty on the tip or something to that nature, is this true? I went to the gulassy website and saw no mention of warranty or a address for return, could someone help me out/set me straight?

I believe the tip is guarenteed for the life of the cue if it came from Mike G.
I don't know what McDermott is doing.

A budie and I have had a lot of problems with the sledge type ferrules we have broke a whole tin full of the brown ones we got off ebay.I my self would rather use the tips glued to a lbm ferrule now .

I am wondering how do you break all the tips in the whole tin? Did you break them after they were installed or before?

I have only seen a handful that cracked, and I saw some cracked at the glue relief hole at the top--but to break a whole tin of tips? What happened?
