Brunswick Anniversary - w/out the Aluminum Trim

I posted a thread about this in the main forum, but thought someone here might have more insight. In the process of purchasing a Brunswick Anniversary for a pretty good price, but there is a slight problem . . . the table does not have any of the aluminum accents, all the casting and skirt accents are a copper/wood color, not the typical aluminum. Have you heard of any models with this color scheme? See attached link for a better idea of what I am talking about:

Let me know if you have any opinions or thoughts on the table. Thanks

OK, a little more information. I can explain away the lack of trim on the legs. Apparently the legs where replaced with new ones created out of black walnut. Any opinions, warnings about replacing the legs on an anniversary table?

I posted something in your other thread in the main forum. It looks like you've got the wrong link here. Here's the correct link to the craigslist ad:

If they copied the legs from the originals, you could buy replacement leg bands to give it a more original look. If they aren't an exact copy, the bands won't fit. I did see a table on craigslist a while ago with copper plated castings. I'm sure it wasn't original, but I thought it was unusual so I copied the pictures:

Did you confirm with the owner that those trims are copper color? They may be aluminum that looks brownish because an incorrect camera setting, like white balance, etc.

They might just have had some kind of plating done to the castings and legs. I bet if you were to sand down into the metal just a little, you would find some nice metal to polish up.Looks like it is in decent shape.Even if you had to replace the castings and leg band, for the right price,I would buy it.

Actually, this table in S.Jersey with the cover on it in one of the pictures, looks like one of the earliest models of Anniversary that did not come with the leg bands, side castings, and walnut rails. The side rails just dowel into each other. It was called the "model B" that is a pretty rare find.I would definitely be able to tell with some more pictures. If it is a model B table,$1300 is a great price.

Judging by the color of the desk in the background, the white desk shows up as being white. Based on that, and other clues, I'd say the color is close to being correct.

Could be...but I can say that rendering the right tonalities on silver or aluminum finish is tricky sometimes, unregarding other objects. It wouldn't harm to ask the question to the seller. :)
