Brunswick cimarron pockets.

I bought a 9’ cimarron table from a guy for 200$ a week ago. I’ve been assembling the table and I’ve made it to the pocket install. The pocket inserts done seem correct, and at the very least they are I. Terrible shape. I’ve looked online for replacements but nothing that is available seems like it would work. Doesn’t anyone have an idea where I can look for replacements, or what would work as an aftermarket pocket?

looks like the liberty is a 1938ish timeframe table. same basic table as the challenger with diff. trim/pockets.

Decided to rehydrate the leather and repair them. Given the age of the table I began thinking about all the history in them and I feel It’s only right to bring them back to life and let them continue forward

Considering the age they aren't in too bad shape.

Cut the stitching on the bottoms and I am going to sew and reinforce a couple areas that the leather is a little weak. Washed, saddle soap, Mink oil has brought them back to life for sure. Once I washed them with some water and mild detergent, they came back to shape. Been doing a lot of research on restoration. I’ll post some pics once I get it all together

Not sure the table will ever be worth an insane amount, but giving life to a table that’s 2 1/2x my age seems like a validating pursuit lol I’m a builder anyways so it’s keeping me busy

Thanks for the share, some beautiful tables. I am moving in 6 months which will require a tear down of the table. Probably enjoy it until then, and refinish it before I get it set up in my new place. I’m already impatient as hell to get playing on it at the moment.

Got the pockets on and it’s playable finally. Still need to do some work but I’ve been itching to actually play. Going to do some repair on the skirts before I put them on as well.

Found this tag and sticker on the frame which adds to the coolness for me give the time period the table was made. Cheers and thanks for everything again
